Fete Finder started with a clear vision: make it effortless for people who love Soca, Dancehall, and carnival culture to find events happening around them or in any destination they’re planning to visit.
Our team at iRoid Solutions designed and developed a cross-platform solution that includes native iOS and Android apps, an intuitive admin panel, scalable API services, and a responsive web app, all aligned with a bold, festival-inspired visual identity.
Using Swift and Kotlin for mobile, Laravel and MySQL for the backend, and AWS for cloud hosting, we delivered a robust, high-performance product that supports real-time event updates, ticket management, and organizer tools, while keeping the experience smooth for users on both smartphones and web.
From UX flows for event discovery to admin dashboards for managing listings and sales, every touchpoint was crafted to reduce friction and let users focus on what matters most: enjoying unforgettable carnival experiences.

The core business goal of Fete Finder was to build a central hub for carnival and Caribbean events, bridging the gap between attendees who want trustworthy, upātoādate event information and promoters who need a modern way to list, promote, and sell tickets.
By digitizing the full journey (discover → decide → book → attend → review), Fete Finder aims to increase event visibility, drive ticket sales, and create a loyal community of users who rely on the app whenever they plan their next fete or carnival trip.
On the promoter side, the goal was to reduce manual work and scattered communication by providing tools for event publishing, ticket management, and performance tracking in one place, helping organizers grow their audience and revenue with less operational overhead.

Capturing the energy of carnival while keeping the app simple
The product needed to feel vibrant and festive without overwhelming users who just want to find an event quickly.
The UI/UX team created clean layouts with bold accent colors, intuitive filters, and focused event cards, balancing energy with usability so the app feels fun but still easy to navigate.
Handling dynamic event data and lastāminute changes
Carnival events often change times, locations, or lineups, and the app had to reflect these updates instantly without confusing users.
We built an admin panel and API layer that allow organizers to update events in real time, with clear status indicators and notifications to keep users informed of any change before they arrive.
Ensuring secure, reliable ticket purchases
With tickets being sold worldwide, payment flows needed to be secure, fast, and trustworthy for both users and promoters.
Encrypted payment integration, validation on both client and server, and robust error handling were implemented on top of a Laravel backend and AWS infrastructure to keep transactions safe and stable.
Serving both attendees and organizers in one ecosystem
The app had to cater to two very different user journeys: discovering events and managing events.
We split the experience into dedicated flows and roles, user app for attendees, organizer tools and admin panel for promoters, while keeping shared data in a unified backend so everything stays in sync.

Fete Finder needed to work smoothly across multiple countries, devices, and network conditions.
