About Project
RightSource is a gamified micro-learning marketplace designed to make employee learning more engaging, practical, and rewarding. Instead of treating training as a series of passive courses, the platform lets users learn through short activities while managing a virtual company and making decisions that reflect real workplace situations.
We designed and developed the RightSource website and web application to connect learners, companies, and training experiences in one interactive ecosystem. Built with Next.js, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and AWS, the platform creates an engaging environment where learning becomes an experience rather than a mandatory task.

Traditional employee training can often feel repetitive, disconnected, and difficult to measure. RightSource was created to make workplace learning more interactive by combining micro-learning with simulation and gamification.
The platform allows users to complete short learning activities, apply their knowledge, and manage a virtual company as they progress. Every decision contributes to the development of their virtual business, helping users understand how communication, leadership, planning, and business choices can affect outcomes.
For companies, RightSource provides a more engaging way to support employee development. Instead of simply assigning training modules, organisations can encourage employees to participate, learn consistently, and improve their skills through an experience that feels more like a challenge or strategy game.
Our team developed the web experience using Next.js, supported by Node.js and Express APIs, MongoDB, and AWS infrastructure. The responsive interface was designed to make the platform accessible across desktop and mobile browsers, while the administration layer gives businesses control over users, learning content, company activities, and platform data.
