ShiftFinder is a healthcare staffing app that helps clinics, hospitals, and care providers find and fill open shifts quickly, while giving nurses and other professionals a flexible way to manage their work schedules.
iRoid Solutions built the full platform, UI/UX, Flutter app, backend APIs, and admin panel, so organisations can post real shift needs and vetted workers can accept them, turning last‑minute staffing scrambles into one smooth, trackable workflow.

Project Description
Healthcare teams regularly face the same challenge: open shifts, last‑minute changes, and a constant need to balance patient care with staff availability. ShiftFinder was created to make that process simpler and more transparent for both sides.
Through the app, healthcare providers post shifts with details like location, role, date, time, and rate. Professionals then browse available shifts, filter by preferences, and accept the ones that fit their schedule. Once confirmed, they can use the app to see shift details, clock in and out, and stay connected with the facility during the assignment.
Our team implemented ShiftFinder using Flutter (Dart) for cross‑platform iOS and Android apps, PHP/Laravel and MySQL for the backend, and a responsive web interface for admins and staff who prefer desktop access. Hosted on AWS and integrated with secure APIs, the platform handles shift posting, applications, confirmations, and basic payments/record‑keeping in a single system.
Business Goals
The primary business goal was to create a reliable marketplace for healthcare shifts, one that reduces reliance on phone calls, spreadsheets, and generic job boards, and instead gives organisations a focused tool for real‑time staffing.
For healthcare professionals, ShiftFinder aims to put them in control of when and where they work, helping them pick up extra shifts, balance lifestyle preferences, and maximise their earning potential without losing visibility over their schedule.
By combining these two perspectives, the platform positions itself as a productivity tool for operations teams and a lifestyle tool for staff, driving better coverage, reduced overtime stress, and improved retention.
